Firm Description:
Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP is the largest law firm in the country focusing exclusively in matrimonial law. The firm is nationally known for handling large asset cases and major litigation, as well as the many prominent positions that Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP lawyers have held. Members of the firm have served as presidents of the Illinois State Bar Association and the National American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and as distinguished jurists, including two former appellate court justices, four former chief judges of domestic relations divisions, and four circuit court judges. Best Lawyers in America named Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP the Top Ranked Family Law Firm in the Nation with fifteen of the firm's attorneys listed as Best Lawyers. The firm's attorneys are leaders in teaching and publishing matrimonial law continuing legal education seminars. The firm also has the distinguished honor of having its name on DePaul University's Schiller DuCanto & Fleck Family Law Center.

Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP represents many individuals whose cases involve the distribution of multi-million-dollar holdings and require sophisticated financial expertise. Given this niche, it is not surprising that a number of the firm's attorneys have extensive backgrounds in business, financial planning, taxation, and accounting. The firm is also known for its success in resolving difficult custody and visitation matters. Although Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP attorneys are aggressive advocates and highly regarded litigators, the firm is equally skilled at negotiating and drafting tax-wise settlements. While the circumstances of each case determine which course is taken, regardless of the method chosen, the goal remains the same: to secure the best possible resolution for the client.
