Practice Description:  
Mr. Rattner specializes in real estate transaction law, land use and zoning law, corporate law, and entertainment law. He is actively involved in a number of professional organizations, including the Oakland County Bar Association; the State Bar of Michigan: Member of Governing Council of Real Property Law Section, Co-Chair of Membership Committee, Member of the Nominating Committee; past Co-Chair of the Continuing Legal Education Committee for the Real Property Law Section; Member of the Subcommittee on Zoning and Land Use Planning; and he serves as a volunteer arbitrator for the Attorney Grievance Commission; and the American Bar Association: Real Property, Trust and Estate Law, and Entertainment and Sports Law Forum.

He is an adjunct professor at Thomas M. Cooley School of Law, where he teaches Modern Real Estate Transaction, and at Wayne State University's School of Music, where he teaches Business of Music. Mr. Rattner is a frequent lecturer to various state and local professional, business and university student groups with respect to real estate transactions, land use and urban planning, zoning, and public incentives. He has recently presented programs for the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, Michigan's Institute for Continuing Education, the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Michigan Planning Association.

Mr. Rattner is a member of the Alumni Advisory Committee of the University of Michigan Alumni Association, and is a past President of the University of Michigan Alumni Association. He is a past member of the University of Michigan's Advisory Board for Intercollegiate Athletics.

Mr. Rattner is honored to be included in the Best Lawyers in America, the Super Lawyers Top 100 Michigan Lawyers and dBusiness Magazine's Top Lawyers in Metro Detroit. Mr. Rattner has significant experience in arbitration, mediation, facilitation and other methods of alternative dispute resolution, and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan, and the United States Court of Appeals in the Sixth Circuit.
