Mr. Fieweger concentrates his practice in civil trials and appeals; personal injury law; commercial and business litigation; and employment law, which includes a groundbreaking plaintiff case calling for greater intellectual diversity at universities. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the Northern Illinois College of Law, he has been practicing law since 1987 and is licensed in both Illinois and Iowa.
He is admitted to practice in and has won cases before the Seventh and Eighth Circuit Courts of Appeals, has successfully argued before the Illinois Supreme Court, has won cases before the Iowa Supreme Court and has won or successfully resolved cases involving all types of employment discrimination, wrongful termination, and Federal and State administrative agency employment issues. He has also successfully tried or resolved a number of Federal Section 1983 cases involving deprivation of individuals' constitutional rights.
