Mr. Bochenek's business practice emphasizes business and real estate planning and transactions, trade association, and labor law. His practice includes representation of many private corporations, as well as acting as outside general counsel for a statewide association of real estate brokers and salespersons, as well as a number of smaller associations and several state public employee pension systems.
Mr. Bochenek graduated from St. Louis University (B.A. in political science, 1974) and received his JD from Ohio State University (1977). He began practicing law in Springfield, Illinois in 1977 and is a member and shareholder in Sorling, Northrup, Hanna, Cullen and Cochran, Ltd. He is licensed to practice in Illinois and is admitted to the bars of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois, Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Tax Court.
