Ms. Rudy is engaged in private practice of law in Rockford. She has a general solo practice with concentration in elder law probate, disability and estate matters. She was appointed to serve as the Winnebago County public guardian/public administrator in March of 2006.
She has served on the Elder Abuse Multi-Disciplinary Team of the Visiting Nurses Association since 1990 and is also a member of their Money Management Program Steering Committee and their board of directors. Additionally, she serves on the Elder Abuse Committee of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit Family Violence Coordinating Council. She is a frequent lecturer on elder law, guardianship, elder abuse, and advance directives.
