Frankfort has more than 40 years of experience representing closely held business entities and healthcare organizations, primarily involving business transactions, entity formation and operation, tax-exemption matters, and regulatory compliance. He has also maintained an active estate planning practice, primarily for the owners or executives of his entity clients and their families. His healthcare practice includes hospital and physician compliance with tax-exemption requirements and other federal statutes such as Anti-Kickback and Stark; hospital-physician transactions; practice sales and acquisitions; and joint venture formation and operation.
