Mr. Hasselberg represents highly compensated and high-net-worth individuals and spouses of highly compensated and high net worth individuals, including business owners, executives, sports and media figures, physicians, attorneys, and accountants, in matrimonial matters involving the division of multi-million dollar estates throughout Illinois.

Mr. Hasselberg was born in 1946. He attended the University of Illinois and received his bachelor's degree in 1968 and his master's degree in 1972. He graduated from John Marshall Law School in 1975. He is a member of the Peoria County and Illinois State Bar Associations, Abraham Lincoln Inn of Court, and the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. He was chairman of the Peoria County Bar Association Family Law Committee for 2005-2006. He was chairman of the Peoria County Bar Association Family Law Committee from 1988 to 1989 and 1994 to 1995 and the Continuing Legal Education Committee from 2000 to 2001. He was president of the Abraham Lincoln Inn of Court from 1997 to 1998. He was admitted to the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers in 1990 and was recertified in 1995 and 2000. He also publishes the Illinois Litigation Report. Mr. Hasselberg has been selected by his peers as an "Illinois Super Lawyer 2006" in the area of family law as noted in the Law & Politics magazine, a division of Chicago magazine. He was an airborne and ranger-qualified infantry officer in the United States Army from 1968 to 1971. He served with the 101st Airborne Division in Vietnam from 1970 to 1971.
