| Practice Description: Mr. Dorris is a trial lawyer who has tried more than 100 cases to verdict before a jury. Approximately 10 or more times, those verdicts have resulted in awards that were collected in excess of $1 million. The largest verdict was for a single individual and the amount collected with post judgment interest was $67 million. Mr. Dorris frequently speaks at seminars for ITLA, ISBA and ICLE. He has served as president of ITLA, the editor of the Illinois Bar Journal, a board member of ICLE, and chair of the ISBA Tort Law, Civil Practice and CLE committees. He currently serves as a member of the University of Illinois Board of Trustees.
