  • Represented major university at the dawn of the Worldwide Web, when developers left the university to form Mosaic Communications and offer first Web browser.

  • Represented one of the leading legal and accounting information providers in connection with the unauthorized downloading of its proprietary online database and when a competitor copied the design of its new online customer interface application.

  • Successfully prevented "cybersquatters" from hijacking clients' Web sites and infringing our clients' trademarks on the Internet.

  • Represented, a joint venture by the six major North American freight railroads, in the formation of a B2B e-commerce exchange.
  • Negotiated landmark deals such as telecommunications outsourcing contracts for AT&T and first-time software licenses with IBM.

  • Represents the University of Illinois with respect to trademark and copyright matters including protection for the "Chief Illiniwek" trademark.

  • Protected and/or licensed characters such as Casper the Friendly Ghost, Barney, Barbie Rocky & Bullwinkle, and celebrities as famous as Michael Jordan and as infamous as John Wayne Gacy.

  • Negotiated a ground-breaking agreement with Twyla Tharp to allow the Hubbard Street Dance Company to produce her choreographic works for the first time.

  • Represented a leading provider of online media players and music download service in connection with its online and mainstream advertising campaigns.
