Sherwin R. Rubinstein concentrates his practice in the representation of health care providers and institutions in such matters as retirement and benefits planning, joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions, valuation and sale of professional practices, general corporate practice, hospital-based provider contracts, limited liability company formations, equity acquisitions, and the formation and general representation of management service organizations. He has lectured to many groups of physicians, dentists, and other health care professionals as well as accountants and insurance representatives on a variety of health care topics. He is a frequent contributor to various trade publications.

Mr. Rubinstein is a member of the Chicago, Illinois State and American Bar Associations. He has been an active member of the Employee Benefits and Corporation and Securities Law Committees of the Chicago and Illinois State Bar Associations and was invited to serve on the Section Council of the Illinois State Bar Association Corporation and Securities Law Committee. He has also been a member of the Section of Taxation of the American Bar Association and is currently a member of the National Health Lawyers Association and the Legal Advisory Board of the Small Business Council of America. Mr. Rubinstein is a member of a national organization devoted to federal tax planning with an emphasis on the representation of professional organizations. He is also on the Board of Editors of Health Care Law Monthly, a Matthew Bender publication.
Mr. Rubinstein serves as Vice-President and Member of the Board of Directors of the Susan Lasky Memorial Cancer Foundation and is also active with fund-raising efforts of the Y-Me Cancer Foundation.
