Practice Description:  
Henry Novoselsky has practiced civil litigation in Illinois and federal trial and appellate courts for over 45 years. He has been instrumental in shaping the law of Illinois, appearing before the Illinois Supreme Court, United States Courts of Appeals and the Illinois Appellate Court. Over the years, Henry has established important precedents in estate and trust law, estate planning malpractice, and the law governing covenants not to compete and restraints upon competition. Henry represents trust companies, banks and individuals in contested trust and estate matters, such as will and trust contests, trust administration, enforcement, construction and reformation, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and contested guardianship proceedings. In addition, Henry also represents parties in chancery litigation matters, such as declaratory judgment actions, injunctive proceedings and unfair competition disputes.

Henry is a court-certified mediator for the State of Illinois, Circuit Court of Cook County, Chancery Division Mediation Program, mediating trust and other disputes. He has served as an Administrative Law Judge for the Illinois Department of Revenue and as a Hearing Examiner for the Illinois Commerce Commission.
