Terry Isselhard, a Principal with Chuhak & Tecson, focuses his practice in business law and planning, healthcare law, income tax, and estate and trust planning for closely held corporations and their owners, both in the healthcare field and other industries.

Terry has established a national practice representing physicians, physician organizations and other healthcare providers in a broad range of business, financial and healthcare matters. Terry's services include the formation and operation of professional corporations, physician networks, management service organizations, and joint ventures with related healthcare providers, as well as mergers, acquisitions, sales and other dispositions of businesses and assets and practice structuring, employment law, employee benefits and other practice and business related concerns. Terry also counsels his healthcare clients on professional licensing, credentialing and peer review, antitrust and prohibited referrals, Medicare and Medicaid, and other legal issues impacting physicians.

Terry advises closely held corporations and their owners on all aspects of their business planning and operations including organizing, operating and expanding closely held businesses, employment law and employee benefits, taxation, estate and business succession planning. Terry's extensive experience, vision and guidance allows him to help his clients focus on the various stages of their businesses and the changing environment in their particular industry, and to provide them with specialized tax and legal advice at every stage of the development of their business.

Throughout the more than 40 years Terry has been practicing, he has written, spoken and taught extensively on topics relating to business and healthcare law, as well as taxation, employee benefits and trust and estate planning, among other issues. Recently, he was profiled in the 2009 business edition of Leading Lawyers magazine with an article titled "Terry Isselhard: Physician's Best Business Partner." Terry serves both his community and Chuhak & Tecson. For nine years he was on the school board for the Joseph Sears School, Kenilworth School District No. 38. He has served on Chuhak & Tecson's management committee and marketing committee, and currently chairs the firm's compensation committee.
