Mr. Haskins is a graduate of the University of Illinois and received his JD, with distinction, from John Marshall Law School in 1976. His practice is concentrated in workers' compensation, handling cases from trial through the Illinois Supreme Court. He is former chairman of the Industrial Commission Section of the Chicago Bar Association and past president of the Illinois Workers' Compensation Lawyers Association. A frequent lecturer on workers' compensation, Mr. Haskins serves on the board of managers of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, where he is chairman of the Workers' Compensation Committee. Mr. Haskins is co-editor of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Workers' Compensation book. He serves as treasurer of The Workplace Injury Litigation Group, a national organization of attorneys representing injured workers. Mr. Haskins is listed in the current editions of The Best Lawyers in America, Marquis' Who's Who in America, Marquis' Who's Who in American Law, Marquis' Most Influential Individuals in the United States, and Marquis' Who's Who in Finance and Industry.

The Law Firm of Cullen, Haskins, Nicholson & Menchetti, P.C. was originally founded by George J. Cullen in 1962 when he was a sole practitioner. In 1976, Charles G. Haskins, Jr. joined the firm. He was followed by Patrick B. Nicholson in 1979 and David B. Menchetti in 1986. John Powers joined the firm in 2001, followed by Jose M. Rivero in 2004 and Anita M. DeCarlo in 2006.
