Mr. Gifford concentrates his practice in medical malpractice. Over the past 40 years, he has tried over 100 cases to verdict, civil and criminal, in State and Federal Courts, as well as before Federal agencies such as the CAB and FAA; he has also tried and settled major cases in several jurisdictions where he is admitted to practice or was admitted pro hac vice. Also, significantly, his trials have involved a wide range of subject areas, from Federal civil rights matters to State highway condemnation actions. He has briefed and argued numerous appeals in the State Courts of Missouri and Illinois.
