Accomplished in complex litigation and state and regulatory compliance matters, Mr. Fahner is also a regular advisor to audit committees and boards of directors and has been recognized not only by Chambers as one of America's Leading Business Lawyers, but by Euromoney as one of the World's Leading Business Lawyers.

In 2002, he was named "Person of the Year" by Chicago Lawyer Magazine, and since 2010, he has been recognized by his peers in Leading Lawyers as a Leading Lawyer in commercial litigation, white collar criminal defense law, governmental, municipal, lobbying, and administrative law, and publicly held corporations law.

He currently serves on the Commission for the Preservation of America's Heritage Abroad by the appointment of President George W. Bush.

A former Attorney General of Illinois, Mr. Fahner spent a number of years prosecuting criminal acts on behalf of the people and defending the state against charges brought against it. He has also served as the Director of the Illinois Department of Law Enforcement and as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois.

He volunteers his time as president of the Civic Committee of the Commercial Club of Chicago and as a director of Children's Memorial Hospital and the United Way Crusade of Mercy.
