Practice Description: Mr. Anderson is a commercial litigator with 31 years of experience. He is Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers who has tried numerous cases to verdict in state and federal courts around the country. His trials include the representation of large corporations in jury trials lasting 4 weeks or longer. In addition to his trial experience, Mr. Anderson has considerable experience as an appellate advocate. He has argued before the United States Supreme Court, the Illinois Supreme Court, the Illinois Appellate Court, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, and other courts of appeal.
Mr. Anderson received national attention for his representation of former Governor George H. Ryan, for his representation of the Illinois Council of Long-Term Health Care, Inc. before the United States Supreme Court, and for his representation of a major pharmaceutical company in transfusion-associated HIV cases.
Mr. Anderson also serves as an arbitrator and mediator in commercial disputes and as an expert witness in legal malpractice matters. He is recommended in Euromoney's Guide to the World's Leading Experts in Commercial Arbitration (2004).
